Ultimately, I would like to have all my novels produced in an audible format. My experience in producing The Lion Trees for audible was immensely satisfying and I can’t wait for the next one. Mother Blues is another novel of epic scope that will be an enormous challenge to adapt to audible: lots and lots of characters with lots of different accents. Auditioning for The Lion Trees took three months with roughly a hundred auditions and the prep work on my end was enormous. I expect the same for Mother Blues. I have yet to start the process, but I am hoping 2023 will see the launch of this effort.
